The powerful scents of Patchouli, Sandalwood, Bay, Cedarwood, Cypress, Ginger, Silver Fir, Vanilla, Vetiver, these are the masculine oils  preferred by men. Along with citrus oils they can have a masculine scent spicy scent.
Many men do enjoy the aroma and therapeutic benefits of some of the floral essential oil; particularly lavender, neroli and jasmine which can be toned down for a wonderful addition to a blend.

Cedarwood Essential Oil
Cedarwood essential oil is said to be one of the first crude essential oils to be extracted, and it was one of the oils that the Egyptians used for spiritual embalming purposes.
The oil has a rich, woody aroma with a base note that can help hold an otherwise flighty blend together well. Cedarwood oil can act as an aphrodisiac and it also complements masculine blends.
Cedarwood oil is popular for all four seasons but is especially nice during fall and winter months.
Emotionally Cedarwood essential oil is grounding and calming, and it is said to help combat negativity. It’s an oil that men can reach for at times when faced with chaos or conflict and want a grounding oil for use during meditation or reflecting on the situation.

Cypress Essential Oil
Cypress Essential Oil is often a favorite essential oil to blend with. It has a fresh, herbaceous, slightly woody, evergreen aroma.
The woody aroma of Cypress oil blends well with a number of essential oils including other woody oils, mint oils, the citrus oils, especially grapefruit, and it is beautiful blended in low dilution florals.
Cypress oil is one of the first essential oils to reach for when tired or need help being able to concentrate. Cypress oil is a pale oil and has a thin consistency. As an astringent it is useful for excessive perspiration, hemorrhoids, menorrhagia, oily skin, rheumatism and varicose veins.

Silver Fir Essential Oil
Silver Fir essential oil is also commonly known as Fir Needle essential oil and White Fir essential oil. Silver Fir essential oil is steam distilled from the needles of the Silver Fir, Abies alba, a tall, majestic evergreen that is indigenous to Europe.
Silver Fir Essential Oil is abundant in monoterpenes and can be very helpful in supporting respiratory health. It’s a good choice to include in blends intended for bronchitis, colds and the flu.
Emotionally, Silver Fir Essential Oil is a wonderfully energizing essential oil that can be helpful if you have fatigue. It may also be helpful in instances of anxiety or depressed spirits.
Aromatically, Silver Fir Essential Oil is a middle note that blends especially well with essential oils in the conifer, wood, citrus, mint, and herbaceous families. It has a fresh, woody, sweet, “forest” aroma.
It’s a beautiful essential oil to use around the Christmas and winter holidays. It’s a highly beneficial essential oil that shouldn’t be merely limited to holiday themed aromatic applications.
It is effective for conditions like catarrh, sinusitis, bronchitis, bronchia, tract discomfort, dry cough, rheumatism, muscular aches and pains, feverishness, anxiety, tension.

Patchouli
Patchouli essential oil has a strong sweet, spicy, and musky aroma that also provides many health benefits. It’s a popular perfume oil used as a cologne though not everyone is appreciate of the scent, which may appeal more to men than women.
Patchouli oil is good for treating sexual problems including impotence, loss of libido, disinterest in sex, erectile dysfunctions, frigidity, and sexual anxiety. The oil has been used as an aphrodisiac for hundreds of years and helps both men and women put a spark back in the bedroom by stimulating the sexual hormones, estrogen, and testosterone, which boosts the sex drive.
The oil is also a strong astringent and, is good at regenerating new skin cells that keep the skin looking healthy, young and vibrant. It helps fade scars, and is similarly effective in eliminating marks left by boils, acne, pox, and measles.
Patchouli essential oil is a powerful anti-fungal for infections like Athlete’s foot and is a strong insecticide to drive away mosquitoes, ants, bed bugs, lice, fleas, flies, and moth.
