Vegetables are from a food group which is densely rich in nutrients which can make healthy vegetable dips.

A healthy food planning for your family should include dishes which are lower in fat and enriched with fiber and nutrients. The inclusion of vegetables in appetizers effortlessly makes you count your food as healthy. The addition of fruits and nuts add flavor contrast to the vegetable dips.

Vegetable dip recipes are already well-liked for years as appetizers. Corn which is generally added gives a crisp texture and sweet taste to dips. Vegetable dips can be made especially awesome with the warmth of delicate pepper, cilantro and red onion.

Many distinct beans such as black beans are used in vegetable dips that become softer after marinating and adds a delicate flavor with wealthy texture.

Dips are wonderful appetizers. Instead of cookies or chips they are also wonderful snacks. Kids no doubt, always love dips but it is very much true that through this they are at least adding a vegetables into their diet.

If you don’t belong to a rich family and cannot afford your own chef then preparing easy to make and nutritious vegetable dip is the best alternative.

To stay healthy a vegetable dish should always be there on your dining space. Especially while serving food to your children who are picky eaters. Be creative in your presentation.

You can serve these easy vegetable dips such as a hot cheesy spinach dip, hot spinach-artichoke dip or creamy vegetable dips so that your little ones do not realize what they are really eating.
These includ chopped fresh herbs and vegetables like spinach leaves or kale.

Not all vegetables are suited to be used as snacks but some have high vitamin and mineral content which can be eaten as raw.

Rather than eating from a packet of potato chips serve a rich spinach dip on toasted wheat bread which is an outstanding snack. Though potatoes are vegetables, deep frying them and adding salt makes it an unhealthy snack.

You can make vegetables into a dip and eat them raw as well. Here are a few vegetables types that can be used in dips such as broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, lettuce, peppers and tomatoes.
Following is a simple recipe for a tomato mayonnaise sauce that makes a great dip as well as a spread for burgers, etc.

Tomato Aioli Sauce

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 (14.5-oz.) drained can unsalted diced fire-roasted tomatoes
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 cup mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high. Add chopped onion; cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic cloves and crushed red pepper; cook 30 seconds.
Add diced fire-roasted tomatoes and red wine vinegar. Cook 10 minutes; let cool completely. Process tomato mixture, canola mayonnaise, and kosher salt in a food processor. Serve with raw vegetables and crackers.
